Engineering Supervisor

The Engineering Supervisor can be seen as the front person of the engineering team. Besides having a broad knowledge of all existing technical and maintenance aspects of the hotel, the Engineering Supervisor is also responsible for planning and overseeing the tasks performed by the engineers.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Oversee, plan and coordinate the daily work of the engineering team and hands on support.

  
  

• Ensure the hotel is well maintained by resolving all technical issues and defects.

  
  

• Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure accurate registrations.

  
  

• Manage tools, materials and maintenance stock.

  
  

• Act as the main point of contact for engineering and coordinate with other departments.

  
  

• Create schedules, supervise working hours and manage holiday planning.

  
  

• The Engineering Supervisor proactively initiates projects for maintenance improvement in all different Maintenance & Upkeep areas.

  
  

All associates in the Engineering team report directly to the Engineering Supervisor, the Engineering Supervisor reports to the Chief Engineer. The Engineering Supervisor is the first point of contact when the Chief Engineer is not present.

You are:

• Flexible, service-oriented, strong communication skills and pro-active

  
  

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the same role

  
  

• Fluent in Dutch and English is a plus

  
  

• Experience with Office

  
  

• BMI certification is a big plus
