At the heart of the Parliament Centre of The Hague, located at a prestigious spot opposite the Royal Palace Noordeinde, Hotel Indigo The Hague – Palace Noordeinde opened it's doors in 2018. Once occupied by “De Nederlandsche Bank”, our boutique hotel with 63 rooms, restaurant Stocks&Bonds, The Gold Bar and 2 meeting rooms/private dining borrows some of these unique elements in its décor. Each Hotel Indigo is unique, and delivers a vibrant, engaging and genuine boutique experience that gives guests a real flavour of the neighbourhood – delivering an experience that is truly reflective of the local culture, character and geography. In 2026 the hotel will refurbish it's F&B outlets (restaurant, bar and terrace) to create a memorable F&B experience for both our hotel guests and locals.

A day in the life of…

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and technical condition of the hotel. Your tasks include:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance (monthly and quarterly inspections);

  
  

• Troubleshooting technical issues (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, furniture);

  
  

• Carrying out minor repairs in guest rooms and public areas;

  
  

• Supervising and coordinating external contractors;

  
  

• Identifying technical issues and suggesting improvements;

  
  

• Ensuring compliance with safety and fire regulations including legionella;

  
  

• Ordering of technical equipment / replacement items;

  
  

• Provide a weekly overview of planned and carried out preventive maintenance.

  
  

What do we need from you?

• Technical education or proven technical experience with a minumum of 2-3 years hotel experience;

  
  

• All-round technical knowledge (electrical, carpentry, plumbing is a plus);

  
  

• Independent, solution-oriented, and flexible attitude;

  
  

• Be prepared to occasionally work on call or handle emergency duties;

  
  

• Good command of the English language (Dutch is considerate a plus);

  
  

• Guest-oriented mindset.
